Isabela Herrera Velutini (also known as Isabela Herrera) is an eighth-generation member of the Herrera Velutini family and Principal of Banvelca, a family office and wealth-management organisation that traces its stated origins to a merchant enterprise founded in Naples in 1781 by Juan Bautista Velutini.
In July 2026 she assumed an expanded leadership role at Banvelca. The transition has been framed publicly around the theme of patient capital — the idea that decisions should be judged by a multi-decade horizon rather than quarterly performance — and around the challenge of transferring not only capital but institutional culture and judgement across generations.
A cum laude graduate of the NYU Stern School of Business with a degree in Finance and Data Science, Herrera began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in New York. There she advised senior executives on complex transactions across the financial-services sector, focusing on integration strategies and financial modelling for large-scale mergers and acquisitions involving Fortune 100 institutions.
As Principal and Chief Executive of Banvelca she oversees institutional development, cross-border initiatives and long-term expansion. She has also highlighted the convergence of traditional finance and digital assets as an area that will shape the financial architecture of the future, while stressing disciplined, selective risk-taking grounded in analysis rather than short-term market enthusiasm.
Banvelca materials describe the organisation as managing substantial assets with a horizon measured in generations, coordinating strategic holdings, financial services and cultural/philanthropic activity linked to the Herrera Velutini family across Europe, the UK, the Americas and the Middle East.
